WHERE IS OUR FOOD MADE?

In 2016, we built our own kitchen, hired a team of chefs and expanded our food menu. Our kitchen is just across the road from our Torquay Road store and we deliver each of our house made-from-scratch eats and treats each day, to every one of our stores around Geelong.

For us, good food is wholesome food. We use quality, whole ingredients, drawing on tried-and-true methods to create products that always deliver on taste.

HANDMADE BY US

Wherever we possibly can, our food products are made from scratch. That’s every cookie, every loaf of banana bread, every protein ball - handmade by our food team, and delivered into stores daily. While the team at La Madre Bakery handcraft the bread and croissants we use, we take care of each delicious filling, right down to the dill mayo and tomato relish in our toasties.

Our Bacon & Egg toastie is made using free range eggs from Ravens Creek Farm in Moriac, streaky bacon rashers, deliciously melty mozzarella and housemade tomato relish, sandwiched in La Madre sourdough.

A crowd fave, our Choc Hazelnut Protein Ball is a smooth mix of hazelnuts, dates, cacao, maple syrup and coconut oil rolled in toasted coconut. The addition of Life Grip’s Whey Protein Powder makes for both a tasty and energy boosting treat.

A sweet treat for any time of day. We make our cookies using local peanut butter and we love the hint of nutty goodness you can taste with the deliciously decadent milk and dark chocolate chips. Freshly made baked goods for the win!

This toastie is the real MVP. A generous serve of Bannockburn Free Range chicken breast, melty mozzarella cheese and our very own dill mayonnaise sandwiched between two slices of La Madre sourdough, then toasted to perfection.

Raspberry and White Chocolate is a match made in (muffin) heaven! Using whole ingredients including buttermilk, free range eggs from Raven’s Creek Farm, flour and sugar, we love to eat this one just warm enough that the choccy is melting.

A new addition to our savoury menu, the housemade sausage roll is classic yum. Golden flaky pastry, hearty beef mince filling, topped with poppy seeds and best eaten (we think!) with our made-from-scratch tomato sauce.

Like all of our other food products, our banana bread is handmade by us and delivered into stores daily. Made using local bananas, butter, dates, honey and free range eggs from Raven’s Creek Farm, it’s simply good.
